well, i don't like micheal moore.

at the time of the movie release, it was just a novel idea that we were streaming it before it even came out in the theaters.

needless to say, we don't stream it anymore.

I have to agree with Leanne on this one .. the "facts" are flawed and misstated in Sicko ... anyone that wants to really know about this issue only need talk to anyone in Great Britain where the poor and lower classes use what they call health care and the better off buy health services on top of paying the taxes for broken system. Canada isn't much better.

Hey Chris, I'm sorry but how in the world can you like MichÆl Moore? I haven't seen Sicko but if it's anything like Columbine MichÆl just dŒsn't like to use facts to prove his points. I'm not a big organization. I do work in the medical field but do not believe in a lot of their practices but MichÆl would get his point across if he would use truth sincerely,Leanne

DŒs anyone know of any short (under ten minutes), generic networkmarketing video clips that would be suitable for use on YouTube? Hereis what I am trying to find, and am having a hard time coming up withanything.

1) Short video presentations on the benefits andrewards of network marketing, that can be branded with my own web siteinformation and/or contact information.

2) Similar presentationsfor products/services of benefit to the community (perhaps some of JMF's material?) - the point of this would not be to necessarily makemoney through an affiliate type program (though that would be nice),but to provide something of value to the community.

I know thatthe best answer is to make my own videos, and I will be doing that -but I need something to use in addition. I like the "BrilliantCompensation" movie, but unfortunately it is too long and not usablefor this purpose.

Today I read a reporters story about an alleged pyramid scam in China...

Ihave shared a few paragraphs of this report, and I think it is thistype of ignorant reporting, or at least incomplete reporting that givesmlm, network marketing such a bad rap in the public view, please shareyour opinions...

$10m lost as victims fall to pyramid scam

New immigrants, fresh graduates and jobseekers have lost more than HK$10 million in a pyramid- selling scam.

All said they were duped into buying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of aroma products.

Cheung,in her 40s, said she was persuaded in 2005 by a neighbor to buyHK$500,000 worth of essential oils of a certain brand after beingpromised amazing returns.

She said she attended day-long meetingsat a company office, during which she was subjected to a variety ofunderhand sales techniques.

"They told me I must not tell myrelatives about the business, otherwise they will stop me. I followedthe advice and secretly used the savings held jointly with my husband."

Another woman, surnamed Tsang, invested HK$1 million by mortgaging her property.

"Myhusband was a public security officer and told me it was a scam. Irefused to believe him. I said they held grand conferences at the HongKong Convention and Exhibition Centre and that the company hired alawyer to explain its business was legal and profitable."

Pangfrom Shenzhen borrowed HK$67,000 from relatives using differentexcuses, but the money was for seven bottles of essential oils and amembership fee.

The victims later went to police headquarters to meet officers from the Commercial Crime Bureau.

The company involved in the alleged pyramid selling scam could not be reached for comment.

Byno means am I defending how this company, who ever they are acted intheir corporate headquarters, and by no means am I defending thedistributors that have strongly mislead their prospects into frontloading products for sake of immediate payout to their uplines.

I do however see many problem with this:

1.The words pyramid scam are thrown out way too often, and oftenirresponsibly so, if used need to be justified, so that uneducatedpeople can learn the difference.

2. Other countries companyleaders need to be educated so they don't prospect like many people didhere in the US 20-30 years ago.

3. The general public needs education so they don't make moronic decisions like the poor folks that bought all this product!

4.Reporters need to be educated so that THEY can report about thespecific issue and name the specific companies, reports like this makeeven legitimate companies and people involved in them look bad.

Yes, the Greatest Networker is each and everyone of us - at least those of who dare to think that we are :)

I remember many years back, 2001? 2002?, how after I have read the Greatest Networker In The World for the first time, including the foreword and the backword, and fell in love with the sotry and the many sharp ideas in side, I enrolled to become a member of this website, and then, made contact for the first time with the man behind the book and TGN.com.

I asked John, Hi John, I love your book. Tell me, isn't that the true story of your life? I was referring to something John David Mann said about JMF and the book.

I remember JMF's quick answer, which stunned me ... for awhile. He said, no, the Greatest Networker is You. I am only the author.

And then I realized how clever the author was, in writing the book the way he did.

In the book, The Greatest Networker has no name. So, we can very well put ourselves in the character (or the other character) as we so often do when we get deep into the storyline of a good book.

So, yes, the Greatest Networker can be and is all of us who are the business, and who love and live all the great possibilities that spring out of it.
